Kanayo O. Kanayo marked his 60th birthday in a grand style at the Muson Centre, Onikan, Lagos State, Nigeria. The event was an all-white Jubilee party attended by his colleagues, friends, family, and well-wishers, who all dressed in beautiful white regalia to celebrate with the actor.
The guests dressed elegantly in various shades of white attire, creating an angelic ambiance in the hall.
Distinguished individuals who graced the occasion were presidential hopeful Kingsley Moghalu, former CEO of Transnational Corporation and PDP gubernatorial aspirant in the last Anambra State election, Valentine Ozigbo, and billionaire entrepreneur Obinna Oyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana.
Other attendees at the event included Hazel Onou, popularly known as Whitemoney, who emerged as the winner of the Big Brother Naija reality show; veteran singer Zaaki Azzay; actor Victor Osuagwu; comedian Stanley Chibunna, also known as Funny Bone; veteran actress Ngozi Nwosu; socialite Mike Eze-Nwalie Nwogu, also known as Pretty Mike Of Lagos; and Alex Ekubo, among others.
The celebrant, Kanayo O Kanayo, amazed the attendees when he arrived at the occasion. He made a dramatic entrance with a theme inspired by the movie “Money Heist,” dressed in all-white attire, and had his escorts wearing red overalls with masked faces.
Kanayo O Kanayo, the celebrant, made a second entrance in traditional attire, a white outfit with a red chieftaincy cap and a traditional hand fan. As he stepped onto the podium, he was greeted with money raining down on him.
During the event, Kanayo O. Kanayo launched his foundation, called the Kanayo O. Kanayo Foundation, which aims to provide educational scholarships to underprivileged children. The foundation was unveiled by Obi Cubana.
Comedian Ayo Makun, also known as AY, hosted the cake-cutting session where Kanayo O. Kanayo was surrounded by his wife and three sons. The veteran actor revealed that it was his first time cutting a birthday cake.
