Davido Launches Social Media Platform “Chatter”
Popular Afrobeats singer Davido has launched a new social media platform called “Chatter.”
Announcing the launch on his official X handle on Friday, Davido revealed that he co-owns the app with his close friend, Sir Banko.
“Chatter is a social audiovisual utility platform designed to connect content creators with a lively community and amplify their voices,” Davido explained.
In May 2024, Davido introduced a cryptocurrency named $DAVIDO meme coin.
Despite its initial popularity, the coin crashed shortly after its launch, leading to criticism and accusations of being a scam from cryptocurrency enthusiasts.
The Chatter app aims to provide a platform for content creators to share their work and engage with their audience.
Davido’s foray into the tech world continues to showcase his versatility and ambition beyond the realm of music.
