Once again, the members of Ezinne Association of Old Orlu Province are preparing to celebrate their 25th year of serving their community, which will be marked by a glamorous gathering. This Silver Jubilee celebration is scheduled to be held on September 24, 2022, at Martin Crosswinds in Maryland, USA, and is expected to be a grand event, with distinguished guests and notable personalities in attendance. Mrs. Yumi Hogan, the First Lady of the State of Maryland and wife of Governor Larry Hogan, has been invited as the Special Guest of Honor for the occasion. As the first Korean-American first lady of a United States Governor and the first Asian-American first lady in the history of Maryland, she is set to make history once again by attending this event.
Ezinne Association of Old Old Orlu Province is a non-profit organization established in 1997 and incorporated in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area, which includes Maryland, Virginia, and Washington D.C. This association is classified as a 501(c)(3) organization. The group of women who form this organization are committed to upholding family values, delivering social services to the community, and safeguarding the welfare of both their members and families. Over the years, the organization has remained active and prosperous in fulfilling its mission.
Dr. Lady Nikki Ezeani (Ugobueze) leads the organization, and its membership is comprised of married women from Old Orlu Province. Other executives serving in the association include Mrs. Stella Odum (Udonwanyi), who holds the position of Vice Chairlady; Lolo Nkiru Ozokwelu (Irugo), who serves as Secretary General; Lolo Ngozi (Nmadiche), who acts as the Financial Secretary; Lady Jane Nwaogu (Akaraka), who holds the position of Treasurer; Lolo Judith Okeke (Stainless), who serves as Vice Secretary; Mrs. Joy Osuji (Oyibo Nwanyi), who holds the position of Provost; and Lolo Chioma Ohiri (Ugonma), who serves as the Public Relations Officer.
The event will be covered by the crew of Excel TV and Excel Global Media Group, who will be present on-site to document the proceedings for the public’s benefit.
