Trump Hush Money Trial: Prosecution Unveils Key Witness
In a dramatic turn of events at the Trump hush money trial, the prosecution has brought a key witness, Keith Davidson, who orchestrated the controversial hush money deal with adult film star Stormy Daniels, Excel Magazine International reports.
Davidson’s testimony shed light on the intricate web of secrecy surrounding the alleged affairs involving President Trump.
Excel Magazine International learnt Davidson’s involvement extended beyond Daniels, as he also provided counsel to Playboy model Karen McDougal regarding her purported liaison with Trump. His discussions with the National Enquirer about the potential sale of McDougal’s story further unveiled the depth of the alleged cover-up.
In a blow to Donald Trump’s defense, Judge Merchan delivered a decisive ruling, finding the former president guilty on nine out of ten contempt charges related to the hush money scandal.
Each violation incurred a fine of $1,000, amounting to a substantial penalty of $9,000. However, amidst the legal turmoil, the judge granted Trump permission to attend his son’s graduation, permitting his absence from court proceedings on May 17th and June 3rd.
At the heart of the trial lies the accusation of Trump’s attempt to conceal a $130,000 payment to Stormy Daniels prior to his electoral victory in 2016, which prosecutors argue constitutes election interference.
Trump maintains his innocence, pleading not guilty to 34 counts of falsifying business records and vehemently denying any sexual encounter with Daniels.
